Handmade Jewellery Swap at CK Creative Korner had a Handmade Jewellery Swap. I found a great tutorial about how to make jewellery out of washers ~ yes washers from the hardware store!  I made a pendant, and ribbon necklace "collection" for my partner, lol.    It was like knitting with a cloud! Confetti yarn is so soft and plush. It knit up fairly quick x 5 balls, and I used Vanna yarn for the crocheted picot edging.

At Creative Korner, we had a Fall Table Topiary Swap .  I made two, and wished I had kept one for myself.  The materials are fairly inexpensive.  As you can see, the mini-lights are battery operated.  The orange and green jelly beans looked awesome in the warm glow of the mini-lights.

The cutest little yarn tree/fun fur tree centerpiece, and they are too easy to make! I sent mine home for Christmas, which didn't quite work out too well though. The yarn stuck to the cones and they went all flat. Family asked me what they were... too many questions... just smile and wave. These Pot Holder Scissor Keepers are fun and easy to make.  Fold them into a triangle shape and have your glue gun ready on the sidelines.  Leave them plain, for the discerning, or embellish with beads and trinkets from the scrap booking section in your local craft store. Fill with a note pad, scissors of course, pencil and pens, you name it!
