Christmas 2006

Image
A short hop to Victoria for Christmas, and I baked these gingerbread birds and their humans for friends and bird enthusiasts, Dawn and Dennett. These bite-sized babies were so fun to decorate ~ and easy to pop into your mouth!

Christmas Tree Jar Gripper

Image
Christmas Tree jar gripper made from non-slip rubber grip stuff. I remember on the Ferries in BC, they used non-slip rubber mats in the cafeteria, so when they ran into rough waters, you wouldn't be hit in the eye ball by a flying salt shaker! Eye-eye-eye! I crocheted cotton around the edges. I hope it worked well for my swap parter. It was awefully cute, and I should have made some more.

Christmas 2006

Duncan and I are on our own for the first time this Christmas. Duncan is next to our mini Christmas Tree. What kind of mother am I, and didn't wipe his face after he finished eating! But he was too adorable not to share.

Christmas 2006 Tinfoil and Glass Ornaments

Fooling around with construction paper and tinfoil. What a kewl effect! All you need is some wax paper to trace your desired design. Then place it over the tinfoil and press over your design with a dull pencil. The ugly little Christmas ornament took a couple of months to arrive in Australia.
